Easy way to save Python session as Matlab files

Matlab users frequently save their results to a .mat file that can be opened in another Matlab session for further processing. Using Spyder (available in either WinPython or Anaconda Python distributions), you can do the same.

  1. Run your Python script and generate the variables.
  2. Go to variable explorer.
  3. Click the save button and choose Save As Matlab file.
  4. You can open this file in Matlab. Happiness!
